Cheers to Coosa: Our Farm to Table Dinner Series

Last year Coosa Riverkeeper launched the Cheers to the Coosa Series in an effort to raise awareness about the connection between food and water- while raising a glass to the river! It takes clean rivers to grow good food and make great beer! Attending any of our delicious beer dinners helps support the work of Coosa Riverkeeper to ensure the Coosa River remains healthy!

Join Coosa Riverkeeper and Avondale Brewing Co. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 6-10 PM for Alabama’s first on-site charitable beer dinner! This farm-to-table dining experience will feature local food from Snow’s Bend Farm prepared by Chef Sean Butler of Food Studio B perfectly paired with Avondale Brewing Company beer. We’re excited to host (for the second year!) Cheers to the Coosa, a farm-to-table beer dinner, at Stone’s Throw Bar & Grill in Mt. Laurel on Thursday, November 7 from 6- 10 PM. This unique beer dinner with feature local food from Mt. Laurel & Heron Hollow Farms and beer from four local breweries. Each course will be carefully crafted based on seasonality and availability of produce to complement each unique beer choice. Tickets will be available for purchase soon!
