It’s hard to believe we’ve wrapped up our 6th season of Swim Guide!

So many aspects of this year has been unprecedented for us all. One thing we know for certain, when the world turns upside down families across Alabama turned to the Coosa River.

The Coosa River Swim Guide is a monitoring program that provides free and readily available information about water quality at popular recreation sites to families all summer long, using sound scientific water collection and analysis techniques through multiple communication channels such as email, text alerts, radio ads, and social media. Over the past six years, we’ve grown this program and the number of sites monitored by 114%... and it’s because folks like you support our work.

2021: We’re already thinking about next year…. where would you like to see us collect water quality data on the Coosa? Drop us a line at [email protected]

Thank You to our Funders!
