Hosts are gearing up for the 2013 Coosa River DOG Fest

Coosa River DOG Fest hosts, Alabama Siberian Husky Rescue and Coosa Riverkeeper, are busy recruiting shelters, rescues, and vendors for the second annual event. Held at the Coosa Outdoor Center in Wetumpka, this year’s event will feature a Puppy Paddle (guided), dog related vendors and sponsors, many local rescues and shelters, and, of course, lots of fun in the Coosa River for you and your dogs. Mark your calendars for September 29 and come on out for lots of fun!

Petco Foundation announces River Dog sponsorship

Petco Foundation announces it will be a lead River Dog sponsor for the 2012 Coosa River Dog Fest. The Petco Foundation has served as a voice for companion animals across the country since 1999. Each year, they help animal-welfare organization find lifelong, loving homes for millions of orphaned pets, as well as fund spay and neuter efforts, animal assisted therapy programs and humane education. Look for local Petco representatives at the festival!

Coosa River Dog Fest announced

Alabama Siberian Husky Rescue and Coosa Riverkeeper announce the Coosa River Dog Festival. This dog festival is free to the public and loaded with tons of great activities and educational booths for you and your dog. The event will take place on September 8th at Coosa Outdoor Center in Wetumpka on the banks of the Coosa. See you there!
