Celebrate the Coosa by paddling with us in Wetumpka on August 15th!

A fun float in the afternoon will be followed by a free low country boil. Make a night of it and enjoy free camping Saturday night with your friends. To join simply call Coosa Outdoor Center at 334.567.3788 to reserve your boat (or bring your own boat and call them to reserve a shuttle space). Launch times are 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm – choose the one that suits you best! We recommend 10 or 12 to make sure you’ll be back in time for supper.

The event will run concurrently with the Coosa Canoe & Kayak Fishing Tournament Coosa Classic on the same stretch of water at the same day. So if you’re an angler and want to fish for a cause and a chance to win great prizes, check that out too!

Bring your own beverages and sack lunches!
